The criminal home-made lunch was confiscated and destroyed by officials, and the preschooler was given a federally-approved lunch, for which her mother has been sent a bill.
The crime of No Vegetable. Kid didn’t eat the state approved veggie either.
Just move the capital from Harrisburg to Erie. Moynihan’s Law states that math scores are inversely proportional to the distance of a state capital from the Canadian border.
A negative 0.522 — which may be the strongest correlation known to education, and which means that the further a capital is from the border, the lower its test score. By contrast, the correlation between expenditures and math tests is a paltry 0.203.

If a teacher had a mean streak they should assign a report for tomorrow. Wikipedia has gone dark for 24 hours in protest of the attempt to damage the free and open Internet.
you should go up to a 20-something and tell them things like “the fern is the world’s most popular carnivorous plant” and “Henry VIII invented the internal combustion engine, but kept it secret to protect the environment” and they will have no choice but to believe you as they will have no idea how to use, never mind find, a “reference book.” – When Wikipedia Goes Dark
Interesting smack down of Juan Williams in the 15,001 Republican debate last night in SC.
You can once again talk about the pros and cons among yourselves.
A recent common and minor incident on a school trip has exposed mindless displays of envy, chance to settle some old grudges and just plain meanness among some of the gentle readers of this site.
What the students did was against the rules of the school and agreement for the privilege of going on the trip. Young people always have and will always do rash things and worry about the consequences later. Hopefully at least one has learned that even a fish wouldn’t get caught if he kept his mouth shut. Their fate is between the school and their parents.
Their transgression was at least in the spirit of enjoying life and was never meant to cause harm to anyone else. Not so were the malicious post from a few visitors to this site. Some of those post were far more morally reprehensible than anything the students did.
Someone mentioned counseling. The only people that need counseling are the ones posting rants full of envy while wrapping themselves in the cloak of moral superiority. Once there was a man who when faced a vengeful mob ready to punish a transgressor simply said Let the person that hasn’t screwed have the honor of starting the punishment. At least that crowd had the self awareness to walk away, not so sure about some of the visitors to this site. Seems like some of you would just be jealous that a fellow mob member had a bigger and better rock to throw.
Employers are facing more uncertainty in the wake of a letter from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission warning them that requiring a high school diploma from a job applicant might violate the Americans with Disabilities Act. The Rest Of The Stupidity
If you still have children at home follow the advice of Kurt Schlichter
“Cook enough food only for the number of kids you have minus one. Let hunger teach them that food is for closers.”
“ If some loser gives you kid a trophy for doing anything but winning, run over it with your car”
“ If you‘re kid gets suspended to fighting back at school, ensure the edu-wusses know you‘re taking him out for ice cream.”
“When your kid falls, scan for broken bones and serious bleeding. If none, tell ‘em to walk it off and stop whining.”
“Annoy libs moms by not letting your kids play at their houses unless they can tell you that they do have guns.”
Teach your kids to verbally resolve issues with bullies. E.g. “You gonna back off or do I need to slug you again?”
